DESIGN INTERNSHIP – Spring 2020

The Pitch is looking for a design intern for the spring of 2020. Candidates should be college juniors, seniors, or recent graduates looking for experience. Much of our design happens out-of-house, so we are looking for applicants who are driven and independent designers looking for hands-on experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing spot-ads for potential and current clients
  • Designing a feature spread for the print magazine
  • Assisting our Designer with finalizing the book each month before it goes to print
  • Assisting our Designers with promotional material for events
  • Creating assets for social media posts across all Pitch platforms

MULTIMEDIA INTERNSHIP – Spring 2020

The Pitch is looking for a digital-savvy intern for the spring of 2020. Candidates should be college juniors, seniors, or recent graduates looking for experience. We want marketing, PR, or journalism students who want to learn more about social media, email marketing, event planning, and content management systems at a local publication.

Responsibilities include:

  • Writing social media posts across all Pitch platforms
  • Assisting Digital Editor in building MailChimp newsletters with A/B testing
  • Curating and adding events to the calendar
  • Assisting the Director of Marketing with Pitch events
  • Opportunity to pitch story ideas to Editor
