Jerry’s (not Woodswether) Cafe coming in September

Most fans of Jerry’s Woodswether Cafe in the West Bottoms don’t know that the man who founded the diner (now at 1414 West Ninth Street after many years on curvy Woodswether Road), Jerry Naster, no longer owns his namesake venue.
Naster sold the Ninth Street venue three years ago after his wife died. “In retrospect, I realize it was a terrible mistake to sell the restaurant,” Naster says now. “I should have closed it for a spell and reopened it when I got my life back together.”
