The lowdown on Miracle at Rockhill Grille, a holiday pop-up bar in the Crossroads

Notice a lot of people Instagramming from Rockhill Grille over this past weekend? That’s because the second floor of the Crossroads bar and restaurant has been transformed into Kansas City’s outpost of Miracle, a Christmas-themed pop-up erected in cities all across the country. From now through December 31, Rockhill’s upstairs will be a sort of boozy winter wonderland, with lots of Christmas decorations, specialty cocktails, and general merriment.
The joint venture between Rockhill, J. Rieger & Co., and the Miracle organization (which is based in New York) features two cocktail menus. One is local, and features eight drinks anchored by J. Rieger products. Here’s that one:

The other is Miracle’s standard menu, which is offered at all 80 of its holiday locations. Here’s that one (I liked the Christmapolitan, which comes garnished with a Christmas-tree-like rosemary sprig and is poured from a tap):

They’re also serving basic bar food — sliders, chicken fingers, wings, stuff like that. Miracle is open everyday at 5 p.m. until midnight through New Year’s Eve.
