Wyandotte County Ethnic Festival and other weekend possibilities

There’s not a lot of places where you can get Mexican food, soul food and vegetarian Italian cuisine. Perhaps the original pop-up, the sixth annual Wyandotte County Ethnic Festival is this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Grab a bite from the food booths and then enjoy dancers, singers and poets. The free event (parking is free, as well) is at the Kansas City, Kansas, Community College Field House (7250 State Ave., 913-334-1100).
