Who’s got the best winter comfort food dish in the city?
Great winter comfort food is like a proper sweater for your stomach — it leaves you warm, feeling like the cold can’t touch you for just a few minutes. Right now, the Westside Local’s grilled cheese fits that niche for me — a gooey pile of brie, emmenthaler and white cheddar between two pieces of Farm to Market sourdough. Then you get to grab one of the hefty triangles and dip it into a small cup of tomato basil soup.
I wouldn’t mind another option — there are six other days in the week. Who’s got the best winter comfort dish in the city?
