Whole Foods will be opening a store in Olathe

Whole Foods will be opening an outpost in Olathe. The grocery chain received site-plan approval from the Olathe Planning Commission in February for a Whole Foods Market in the Olathe Point Shopping Center at 119th Street and Black Bob Road. At that meeting, Polsinell’s John Petersen told the Planning Commission that it was realistic to expect the project would break ground in the “third quarter,” (fall) of this year. If construction started this fall, the store should open in 2014. I’ve got a call in, and if I hear back with more specific dates, I’ll update this post accordingly.
