Who makes the best steak in Kansas City?

Steaks can be the difference between winning and losing a fight or they’re simply a way to celebrate. But when it comes to where to dine, Kansas City Business Journal readers had some suspect opinions. A shockingly high 19 percent preferred chain steakhouses (the Longhorns and Outbacks of the world), while 41 percent would grill their own and 40 percent would call upon the services of a local steakhouse. 

Back in November, Charles Ferruzza listed the five cheapest steaks in town, which might explain the KCBJ results. I’m hoping that you are a bit more discerning (or at least that you save up your allowance) when it comes to the grill. Who makes the best steak in town?
