The breakfast sandwich is an art form and now, in its third year, the Cook Shack Cafe (8950 Wornall) may have created their masterpiece.

“The Boss,” is a righteous breakfast sandwich with eggs fried over hard sprinkled with cayenne pepper, pepper jack cheese and corned beef hash on sourdough bread. It’s a belly-filling big old farm breakfast in sandwich form with a nice kick from the pepper jack that will have you reaching for your coffee or orange juice. Who’s got the best breakfast sandwich in the land? Anybody had a great one recently?
