Which local restaurant should be on Kitchen Nightmares?

It’s commonly thought that 90 percent of new restaurants fail in the first year. In reality, that number is closer to 26 percent. Still, that means great restaurants will disappear all too quickly, while some spots that are simply average limp into a second year.

While we can’t do anything about the donkeys, we might finally have a chance to save a place we love that just hasn’t figured it out yet. Reader Julie e-mailed Fat City to say that chef Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares is looking for restaurants for the next season of the show. Over the course of his one-hour-long reality odyssey, Ramsay helps a struggling owner revamp the look, service and menu of a place over the course of the reality show.
