Which Kansas City chef should be on reality television?

Julian’s Celina Tio will be back on your television sets tonight. Fresh off a strong bid to become The Next Iron Chef, Tio is hoping to win Top Chef Masters. The Bravo show will pit 12 cheftestants against one another in a series of weekly elimination challenges that begin airing tonight (and on subsequent Wednesdays) at 10 p.m. Tio is holding watch parties at Julian and serving a four-course meal for $35.

Tio is not the only Kansas Citian hoping to win a reality cooking show. Bartender Sandy Digiovanni is currently in the running on America’s Next Great Restaurant. Her Heaven and Hell concept with a dual menu that presents healthy and sinful options has been well-received by the judges. ANGR (which is what I feel when I watched the premiere) airs on Sundays at 7 p.m. on NBC. So, Fat City readers, let’s play casting agent for a minute.
