Which 2011 food trend are you over?

We’re a little more than halfway through the culinary calendar, and it’s time to look back at what’s been popular so far in 2011. In many ways, this year has been a continuation of last year with bacon and cupcakes and, in some cases, bacon cupcakes continuing to overwhelm the metro area.

Kansas City has also seen an explosion of food trucks, hot-dog shops, farmers markets, and online coupons. And there may never have been a better era to be a vegetarian in the City of Fountains. Now that you have had a few months to digest the latest in trendy eats, which food trend are you over?
