Genetically enhanced meat is so passe. If you really want to be onboard with the latest carnivore craze, you’ll start asking for a DNA scan of your dinner.
The Associated Press reports that the Performance Food Group is supplying more than 11,000 restaurants with DNA-traceable meat, meaning that you can track your steak’s journey from cow to plate. Well, that, and the “1,000 different animals in a 10-pound (4.5 kilogram) box [of ground beef].”
