Catch basketball today at Conrad’s Restaurant & Alehouse (210 N. State Rte. 291, Liberty). They have a respectable number of televisions, a sneaky good beer selection on 21 taps, and a solid happy hour from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Drafts are $2, as are longnecks and wells. Martinis will run $4, while craft beer is $1 off. Dig into rock house shrimp, queso Buffalo dip, boneless wings or onion rings for $3.99.

Tonight, grab a beer at the right or left corner of the bar (by the flat-screen TV) at Tavern in Mission Farms (10681 Mission). After 8 p.m., the bar happy-hour menu kicks in and you can gorge yourself on fajita steak sliders, Italian meatball sliders, barbecue chicken or pork sliders, and calamari for $5 apiece.
