This week’s review of Blanc Burgers + Bottles mentions that restaurant’s signature veggie burger — a spicy lentil creation that a friend calls “the Indian food burger” because of its intense curry flavor. It’s not for every taste. One commenter suggested the veggie burger at Room 39 as an alternative. That may be true, but I’ve made a new discovery, pictured right, that may be the best non-meat burger in the metro. If it looks shockingly green, that’s because the burger is topped with a thick slice of freshly peeled avocado and fresh sprouts.
