What’s a dealbreaker when you’re dining out?

Restaurants make mistakes. Chefs and servers have off nights. Some mistakes are forgivable because they are easily corrected. Others suggest deeper issues, born of some fatal flaw that will keep a restaurant from being successful or doom it to early close.

I can forgive a forgotten menu substitution (assuming the server chose to write it down) and overly salty food. I can forgive music that is way too loud. I can’t forgive raw food. I can’t forgive food that makes me ill. I can’t forgive a longer wait than expected without an explanation or simple apology.

So, how about it, Fat City readers, what dining room mistakes are simply unforgivable in your eyes and stomachs?
