To hell with expiration dates at Dirty Don’s!

​I have a couple of friends who swear by the deals at Dirty Don’s Bargain Center, that giant warehouse filled with salvaged products and close-out merchandise at 9700 E. 56th Street, right off Raytown Road. Me? I have to be in the right mood for prowling through all those boxes and shelves of stuff and refrigerated cases — everything from shoes to cheesecake. And in the summer months, you have to go early, like when the place opens at 9 a.m., because there’s no air-conditioning in that main warehouse room.
