Tilted Kilt coming soon to Overland Park; local breastaurant wars heating up

Breastaurants: They come in all shapes and sizes. Like breasts!
It used to be that Hooter’s was the only game in town for men seeking a brief illusion of flirtation with shapely, skimpily dressed young women paid to serve them high-cholesterol menu items in a restaurant adjacent to their suburban office park. But in recent years, the market has opened up. Here in Kansas City, the outdoorsy-themed Twin Peaks — where the servers wear sexy lumberjack outfits, and “peaks” is innuendo for “large breasts,” DO YOU GET IT YET? — now has two metro locations, in Olathe and Independence.
This fall, another scrappy upstart will enter the local fray: Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery plans to open its first area location, at 6700 W. 135th St., in Overland Park. (It’s the space formerly occupied by Wil Jenny’s restaurant.) Tilted Kilt is a rapidly expanding Celtic-themed bar and tittery eatery headquartered in Kilkenny Tempe, Arizona.
Per ancient Welsh customs, the female servers at Tilted Kilt wear “mini-kilts” and push-up bras. The hunky males wear regular kilts. The names of the dishes — Creamy Pub Pasta, Fish and Chips, Shepherd’s Pie — are only as sexual as your disgusting brain decides they are.
The opening (oh God, it’s time to end this post) is tentatively slated for October.
