Tickets still available for Hop Fest 2011

Forget bubbly — the true art lies in the bubbles. Craft-beer lovers will be in heaven on Saturday in Waldo when Hop Fest 2011 comes to 207 W. 74th St. (the parking lot east of the Well). The first-year event, sponsored by Lew’s and the Well, runs from 1 to 5 p.m. and will showcase more than 50 breweries, nary a Budweiser or Coors among them (see Central States Beverage’s Facebook page for an extensive list). 

“There are still tickets available, but I’d encourage people to buy

tickets ahead of time because we don’t want to have to turn anyone

away,” says Chris Lewellen, co-owner of the Well.
