This Is Why You’re Fat’s more literary cousin

I’ve noticed a lot of blogs and twitters (yeah I’m cool like that) linking to the Web site This Is Why You’re Fat. While I commend TIWYF for pictures that raise cholesterol just looking at them, I was disappointed that it really is just food porn. And not attractive food porn.

My personal definition of food porn is “a picture of an edible item meant to titillate, in which the text is secondary.” Because TIWYF contains virtually no text, it qualifies. That’s why I am happier to recommend the wordy yet still-as-gross cousin Super Sized Meals.
