The Voltaggio brothers stop by KC joints during their five-day barbecue tour

The brothers Voltaggio, Michael and Bryan, stole your dream, because they are currently in the midst of a barbecue road trip.

The chef siblings were in Kansas City earlier this week to sample some of the city’s finest smoked meats as part of a five-day “Smoke and Fire Tour.” Williams-Sonoma is sponsoring the trip that has the Top Chef contestants stopping in Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina in search of the country’s best barbecue. After starting in Austin, Texas, the Voltaggio brothers (who have their own website) stopped by Danny Edwards BBQ and Oklahoma Joe’s on Tuesday.
