The ghost that cooked marinara sauce last night

Not every Fat City reader cares about — or even remotely believes in — ghosts, even though there are a number of restaurants in Kansas City that have been long rumored to be haunted. That list includes the Savoy Grill, Pierpont’s, Succotash, and the Majestic Restaurant. The poltergeists that operate in these venues have been known to smoke cigarettes (Succotash) or just walk around at night.

But last night, Suzanne Frisse, who operates Meadowlark Acres (a local company offering cooking classes and a variety of homemade food products), insists that her late husband, Dan, was in her kitchen … cooking.
