The New York Post writes that the dine and dash is on the rise in New York City with the police department reporting a 20 percent increase in the number of arrests for “theft of service” last year (376 as compared with 315 in 2009). And that’s just the people who were caught trying to walk out on their bills.
The city that never sleeps is becoming the city where you skip out on the tab.
