Succotash is now open evenings

It didn’t take long for the River Market bistro Succotash to gain a following after it opened in 2001. Locals flock to owner/chef Beth Barden’s weekend brunch, afternoon sandwiches and the restaurant’s namesake dish of fresh corn, lima beans and chopped peppers, which is served on potato and cheddar
pancakes.
The other thing customers have asked Barden is to extend the hours at Succotash, which closed at 3 p.m. or before every day except Wednesdays.
Customers got their wish. Succotash is now open Wednesdays through Sundays, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. (except for Tuesdays, which are still 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the place is still closed Mondays).
