Strong Ale Beer Fest and other weekend possibilities

It takes a strong man or woman to drink a strong beer. How are your beer-drinking muscles doing? Find out at the Strong Ale Beer Fest presented by BeerKC in the McCoy’s parking lot (4057 Pennsylvania) from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. The beer-tasting lineup includes more than 30 strong beers from such craft brewers as Bell’s, Green Flash and Great Divide. The cost is $30 in advance or $35 at the door, and the event benefits AIDS Walk Kansas City.
