Smallcakes to open in Lee’s Summit

Smallcakes is becoming kind of a big deal. The local cupcakery is set to open its third location, in Lee’s Summit, by the end of this year.

And the new cupcake shop, in the Summit Fair development at Interstate 470 and U.S. Highway 50, will have a neighbor. The Kansas City Star reports that Yogurtini — a self-serve frozen yogurt franchise — will be opening a franchise location there in January.
