Smallcakes is ready for the big time

In a world of oversized portions, it might just be the smallest cakes that are making the biggest noise. Or, to be more accurate, Smallcakes.

The Overland Park cupcake bakery — which opened a sister location in Olathe in February — is set to debut on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars tonight and celebrate its first anniversary Saturday.
