Yep, it’s a animal story not titled “house of filth.” It’s about David Crupper’s mission to raise chickens in Overland Park.

Not that Crupper’s idea is a bad one (or a new one), but widespread attention for articles like this don’t exactly help Kansas City’s urban-professional image. And the exact same argument happened in the Milwaukee-area last week.

Besides, the Overland Park City Council doesn’t even make a final decision on the issue for another month.

I just hope Drudge’s millions of readers pay attention to the article and realize that this means Kansas City is on the cutting edge, not stuck in the rural past.
