Shatto’s Coffee Milk brings to mind a Starbucks’ bottled Frappuccino drink

Coffee milk is an acquired taste — one you may never acquire because it’s simply not that common an item in Kansas City. For me, it’s most associated with the sips of coffee that my parents would grant me at diners when I was child, pouring a drop from their ceramic mug into a plastic cup of creamer. Last week, Shatto’s coffee milk was released, and Fat City grabbed a bottle at Cosentino’s in Brookside.
