Shake Shack has set its opening date on the Country Club Plaza
Lotta people (me) complaining lately about the Shake Shack that’s supposed to open on the Country Club Plaza. When does the got-damn Shack open? I want my shakes, these people are saying.
Today, an answer: the Shake Shack will open Thursday, September 6, at 11 a.m. The address is 239 West 47th Street — across the street toward the east from Classic Cup.
Shake Shack is, of course, a national chain, but the good people behind it like to do local tie-ins at their restaurants, and KC is no different. Boulevard, Crane Brewing, and Torn Label beers will be on tap, and you will be able to get pies from Ashleigh’s Bake Shop along with your custard. And bonus for those who stop in for lunch on September 6: the first 100 people in the door get a free Charlie Hustle t-shirt.
