​Twelve local chefs served up samplings of everything from soup to steak last Saturday at the City Market during an unusual promotion by Toyota that “showcased the thriving Kansas City culinary scene and celebrated the connection between farmers markets and the communities they serve.”

And yes, cars were part of the deal, too.
