Sammy’s Pizza & Pub opens today in Leawood
A lot of kids have pizza parties, but there might only be one kid in Kansas City who has a pizza joint. Sammy’s Pizza & Pub (13164 State Line), named for the son of owner David Royce, opens today in the former Zepi’s Pizza space in Leawood.
“Sammy is probably the only fifth-grader with a pizza restaurant named after him,” Royce jokes.
