Sama Zama opens tomorrow in Westport

Sama Zama opens tomorrow.

Sama Zama, the newest incarnation of the One Bite Japanese Grill, will open in the former Matsu’s space at 425 Westport Road tomorrow.

The menu revolves around small plates of food (pot stickers, spring rolls and chicken/beef/shrimp skewers) and plenty of dipping sauces. Sama Zama is one of the few places in the city to feature Okonomi-yaki, a Japanese-style grilled pizza topped with a fried egg, and udon noodle bowls. The restaurant will also open with a full bar as owner Erika Koike has already secured a liquor license for the new location.
