Ryan Sciara parts ways with Cellar Rat Wine Merchants

Sciara is moving on from the Cellar Rat.

After seven years of peddling Pinot and selling Shiraz, managing partner Ryan Sciara ~~is selling his interest~~. Update: Sciara reached out to me to say he is “no longer an owner and no longer involved” with Cellar Rat Wine Merchants (1701 Baltimore).

“I am extremely proud of the concept I created from scratch and have enjoyed watching it grow and develop over the past seven years,” Sciara said in a release announcing the move. “I have established some amazing relationships with like-minded wine lovers. Together we changed the way people shop for wine in this city.”
