recordBar brings cross-continental show The Love Hangover to KC Feb. 16 and 17
On Thursday, Feb. 16 and Friday, Feb. 17, recordBar will present a post-Valentine’s Day show that has been presented in 10 cities across the United States and Canada for 24 years: The Love Hangover, which sees “the world-weary and the true believers alike huddle in pairs, playing songs to heal broken hearts and break whole ones.” For the last decade, The Love Hangover has seen 74 shows and over 600 performers. Each show brings features local musicians performing duets about both heartbreak and triumph for the lovelorn and lovebirds—all are welcome.
This year’s KC acts include Expassionates, Erin Thomas and Adam Stafford, Jocelyn Nixon and Cameron Keeling, Steddy P and Baby B, Laurel Morgan Parks and Ben Parks, and Benjamin Carrtel and Kirsten Paludan. Let these duets assuage your heartbreak or celebrate your romantic success in those sensitive days post-V-day.
