Perkins files for bankruptcy, KCK restaurant to close

Perkins, the pie chain where time stands still, will finally be going through some changes.  Perkins & Marie Callender’s Inc., the parent company that runs restaurants by the same name, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

As part of a financial restructuring plan, the chain will close 58 restaurants, including the Perkins’ location at 7262 State Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
