Overheard at the counter: Glace

While waiting behind a woman who wanted to taste most of the 18 flavors in the case, I enjoyed this exchange between two of the ice cream shop’s employees.

“Does peanut butter and jelly ice cream count as lunch?” asked the cashier.

“Stop after jelly. Just say, ‘Peanut butter and jelly for lunch.’ Nobody has to know,” replied a coworker.

I agree. Just as cold pizza is breakfast and pancakes can be dinner.
