Oktoberfest Brew Tour and other weekend possibilities

It’s that time of year again.

If you feel that your beer-drinking arm is out of practice, you can start with the Power & Light District’s 2012 Oktoberfest Brew Tour Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Six of the bars and restaurants will be offering Oktoberfest beers and small-plate pairings — be sure to stop by the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium for Ayinger Oktoberfest and bratwurst medallions, and McFadden’s for Samuel Adams Oktoberfest and mini bratwurst sliders. Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
