Now you have plans for the weekend

You need plans. Fat City has a recycle bin full of event listings. In this post, all of our problems are solved.
Lobster might be cheap right now, but it always impresses a date. The Bristol’s Power & Light District location (51 East 14th Street) has live Maine lobsters for patrons at the bar this Friday. As a happy hour special, $9 lobster is available from 4 to 7 p.m. Not a bad start to the weekend.
If you’re still in the mood for seafood, wander over to Nara at 9 tonight. Body sushi is back — wherein a lady is covered in raw fish. This is either up your alley or it isn’t. Call 816-221-6272 or make reservations online. Pearl drinks are $5; you’ll probably need a few.
After First Friday has settle down, the party will still be going strong at Johnny’s Tavern (1310 Grand in the Power & Light District), which opened Wednesday across from the College Basketball Experience. Johnny’s is open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., seven days a week. That’s not a typo.
Depending on how late you stay at Johnny’s, you’ll just have a few hours between drinks and brunch. The Farmhouse in the River Market begins offering brunch this Sunday, 9 am. to 2 p.m. They’re promising pomme frites, crepes and house-made pies.
