You don’t need a hot tub to time travel this weekend. Retro Downtown Drinks and Dance (1518 McGee) is throwing a grand opening party this weekend. The doors open at 3 p.m. today and the night kicks off with an 8 p.m. promotion of Van Gogh Vodka and a 10 p.m. promotion of Three Olives Vodka. Saturday, it’s Clear 10 Vodka at 8 p.m. and Classique Wine’s Gin at 10 p.m.

The newly opened club and bar — adjacent to Crosstown Station —  features rock music from the ’60s and ’70s. As for drinks, try the Kraken Coke (with Kraken black spiced rum, $7.25) or the Cosa Nostra (Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Rum Chata liqueur, stirred with Darjeleeling tea, $7.25).
