Now you have plans for the weekend

You need plans. Fat City has a recycle bin full of listings. In this post, all our problems are solved.

First, how your weekend needs to end: with Snuggie Night in the courtyard of the Power & Light District. Bring your slanket or snuggie or just wrap yourself in a blanket and go downtown. The Sunday-night Oscar-watch party runs from 6 to 9 p.m. It’s sponsored by Young Variety of Kansas City, which is raising money to purchase adaptive bicycles for physically ill and mentally disabled children. There will be popcorn and concessions from AMC Theaters, a red carpet and papparazzi to immortalize you in your Snuggie. Admission is free, but donations will go towards a raffle that includes a year-long pass to any AMC movie theater.

Tonight, head down to the Crossroads and enjoy walking around in temperatures that might just be over 50 degrees. If it cools down, you can seek refuge in the Fishtank Performance Studio, where P.B.R. Me! A.S.A.P., a series of original works inspired by the yard beer, will play out on the stage at 8 p.m. Tickets are $6 in advance, $8 to $10 at the door.
