Nothing beats a ham and cheese on a rainy day

Rainy days seem to bring out the need for a plate of something warm and filling. Whether it’s comfort food or a hot drink with lunch, everybody has their own recipe for getting through the day.

When it’s cold and wet, I’m opting for a ham and cheese sandwich or Monte Cristo — essentially a breakfast ham and cheese sandwich.
