Noodles & Company opens March 5 7 on the Plaza

Noodles & Company is scheduled to open its Plaza location at 540 Nichols Road on Friday, March 5, Sunday, March 7, at 10:30 a.m.

[Note: Noodles & Company issued a release today to change the opening from March 5 to 7]

“The Plaza is one of the pre-eminent shopping and dining landmarks in the country, so we are thrilled to be a part of it,” said Kevin Reddy, the company’s CEO and chairman. “This opening marks the beginning of several new restaurant openings we have planned in the area this year. In fact, we will double our presence in Kansas City by the end of 2010.”

The fast-casual restaurant goes into the old McDonald’s space at the corner of Nichols and Jefferson. Accordingly, the “Burger Boy” statue has taken up residence across Jefferson, in front of Blanc Burgers + Bottles, which opened earlier this month.
