Bravado should count for something when it comes to breakfast pastries. Too often, dry muffin tops and stale danishes are the standard fare at coffee shops. Even when we’re not traveling, we can’t seem to escape the dreaded hotel continental breakfast. So the pride that Oak Street Coffee shows in promising that the “World’s Best Scones” are in Brookside is something to be admired. The scones? They’re something to be devoured.
