New Zagat: Justus Drugstore scores, Kansas Citians 2 percentage points ruder than everybody else

Publisher Tim Zagat’s annual survey of the top restaurants in 45 U.S. markets is out today. Which local restaurants got the highest scores in the 2011 edition of Zagat’s new listing of the top restaurants in the United States?

The answers probably won’t come as a big surprise. The listing includes Kansas City venues that have received national media recognition, including Smithville’s foodie mecca Justus Drugstore; frequent James Beard Award nominee Colby Garrelts’ Bluestem; and James Beard Award winner Michael Smith’s namesake restaurant.

More revealing are the book’s survey results about dining habits.
