New Blanc + Burgers concept won’t be so fancy

Too rich for Lee’s Summit?

Restaurateur Ernesto Peralto Jr. — who recently opened his newest location of Blanc Burgers + Bottles on the Country Club Plaza — will open his new burger concept restaurant, to be called B:2, in the Summit Fair shopping center in Lee’s Summit this summer. But that venue won’t be serving one of the hot new items on the Blanc menu: the Surf + Turf Burger (pictured right), which features an American Kobe beef patty on a rosemary brioche bun topped with a grilled lobster tail, lobster butter, caramelized fennel and tarragon aioli. The $21 sea monster is a little costly for B:2, says Blanc’s Brian Wilson.

The new restaurant will also have its own color theme to set it apart from the two Blancs: Instead of white and orange, expect B:2 to favor shades of blue and dark brown.
