New 24-hour Perkins Restaurant now open in Independence

Insomniacs who crave pie will be glad to hear that a new 24-hour Perkins Restaurant & Bakery has opened in Independence. The diner at 3939 S. Bolger Road began serving on Monday.

The restaurant is a franchise owned by CyHawk Hospitality, separate from parent company Perkins & Marie Callender’s Inc., which made headlines when it filed for bankruptcy last month.
