Missouri Wine Festival and other weekend possibilities

Excelsior Springs features wine, rather than water, for a day during the Missouri Wine Festival. The fifth annual festival on Saturday takes place from noon to 9 p.m. on the back lawn of the Elms Resort (401 Regent) and features live music; crafts; and wine from St. James, Stone Hill, Chateau Lisa, Indian Creek and Terre Beau. Tickets cost $20 ($25 at the gate). If you’re parched afterward,
