Mission Arts & Eats and other weekend possibilities
Not many festivals satisfy your soul and your belly, but the eighth annual Mission Arts & Eats Festival has both of them covered. Tonight and tomorrow, you can enjoy everything from corn dogs to barbecue — the Battle of the Brisket barbecue contest occurs simultaneously — while checking out the wares of local artists, outside the Sylvester Powell Jr. Community Center (6200 Martway, in Mission). Admission is free.
