Minsky’s to open a location in Lawrence
College towns love pizza shops like booty calls — they just need to be hot and available. The latest to pick up the phone is Minsky’s, a Kansas City staple, which will be expanding into Lawrence, according to a piece in The Lawrence Journal-World.
The pizza place plans to set up shop in the former Pizza Hut at 934 Massachusetts, and it has a connection to Lawrence’s pizza past — Kenny Kantner, who has previously worked for the now shuttered Papa Keno’s, is a co-owner of the new location. Kantner told the Journal-World that Minsky’s is expected to open in late April or early May.
