MGK brought his Lost Americana Tour to Kansas City Tuesday night, drawing a packed crowd to the recently opened Morton Amphitheater. The show kicked off with Emo Nite, who had fans singing along to classics like “Dirty Little Secret,” “Misery Business,” and even MGK’s own “forget me too” as they celebrated their first show supporting him on tour.

The crowd continued to grow as fans eagerly awaited Wiz Khalifa’s arrival, and he didn’t disappoint. Opening with “Roll Up” from his breakthrough 2011 album Rolling Papers, Wiz quickly had the amphitheater in his control. He followed it up with hit after hit while taking time throughout the set to sign clothing, posters, and other memorabilia for fans in the pit. To close things out, Wiz performed “Young, Wild & Free” before handing inflatable joints into the crowd, a fitting ending from one of hip-hop’s most recognizable smokers.

As it got closer to showtime, every section filled with eager fans waiting for MGK to take the stage. The moment the curtain dropped, the crowd erupted. Pyrotechnics, an impressive stage production, and deafening chants immediately set the tone for the night. MGK kept the audience engaged with constant interaction, calling out signs, outfits, and even a blow-up doll spotted in the crowd.

The surprises didn’t stop there. MGK welcomed Missouri native Honestav to the stage for a performance of “Crash First” before later bringing Wiz Khalifa back out to perform multiple tracks from their collaborative project blog era boyz.

One of the night’s most memorable moments came when MGK made his way to the top of the amphitheater. Fans rushed from their seats to gather around as he delivered an acoustic performance, showcasing both his guitar skills and vocals from the venue’s upper section.

The evening was packed with energy, nostalgia, and standout performances. Between the emo anthems, hip-hop classics, and strong crowd connection, the show served as a reminder that sometimes a great concert is all it takes to turn a rough day around.

MGK continues the Lost Americana Tour on Friday in West Valley City, Utah, with just over a week remaining before this leg of the tour wraps up.
